It’s a way of life.<br /> <br /><strong>Hays is looking for 2 Accountants to Ralph Lauren</strong><br /><strong></strong><br />Ralph Lauren is growing in Sweden are now recruiting two accountants to support the global finance team in Geneva. The team will be responsible for finance related activities for the Swedish Territory supporting the timely and accurate processing of transactions in the accounts for the Swedish Commissionaires operation. The roles also includes processing and recording of transactions to meet internal management reporting needs (US GAAP – Sabanes Oxley) and Swedish statutory and fiscal requirements. <br /> <br /><strong>Responsibilities</strong><strong>:</strong><br />Local processing and recording of specified transactions for and on behalf of the Swedish Commissionaires operation based in Stockholm. This includes processing, recording and payment of all invoices received. The Swedish organisation consists currently of the legal entities Ralph Lauren Sweden and Ralph Lauren Denmark running retail and wholesale business. <br /> <br /><ul> <li>Assist the Finance Operation in Geneva in achieving tight monthly deadlines by prompt processing of transactions relating to Swedish accounting operation. </li> <li>Accountants payables </li> <li>Processing of T&E claims </li> <li>Retail Sales Analysis, audit and recording of sales by tender type </li> <li>Assist Geneva team in balance sheet reconciliation validation. </li> <li>Bank allocations </li> <li>Correct incorrectly posted invoices. </li> <li>Ensure relevant expenses are re-billed to the correct entities and reconcile the related Balance sheet’s accounts. </li> <li>Reconciliation of Samples balance sheet accounts and other. </li> <li>Participation to the monthly/annual closing </li> <li>Misc analysis </li> <li>Ensuring compliance with Swedish statutory and fiscal requirements </li> <li>Liaise with local management in terms of accounting processes like purchase orders and invoicing reception and recording </li></ul> <br /><strong>Candidate profile</strong><strong>:</strong><br /><ul> <li>Academic background in Business administration or equivalent </li> <li>2-5 years of qualified accounting, preferably from the retail industry </li> <li>Previous experience in a similar role within a shared service environment. </li> <li>Attention to detail together with speed and accuracy. </li> <li>Computer literate </li> <li>Fluent English/Swedish speaker </li></ul><strong></strong><br /> <br /><strong>Personality:</strong><br />You have the ability to work independently, structured and thorough. Strong analytical skills are required and the ability to present results in a clear and simple way. You need to have good communication skills and be able to effectively communicate within all levels to maintain relationship and cooperation in pursuing the goals. <br /> <br />It is important that you are driven and are able to handle stressful situations, able to come up with new ideas and suggestions in short term but also being a pro-active team player with high quality thinking. Attention to detail together with speed and accuracy is of high importance. <br /></p>
