Our client Particle Measuring Systems is a leading American company within sales and production of optical particle counters for monitoring of air, gas and liquids mostly within the Life Science area. PMS also market instruments for monitoring water quality (from GE). PMS has an established Nordic organization with offices in Copenhagen and Uppsala. The job: With reference to the Nordic Manager, you will be responsible for sales in Sweden and Norway. Your customers will mainly be within the Life Science area where you will be responsible for a state of the art product line of measuring equipment. You will get the account responsibility for a well-established portfolio of customers as well as the responsibility for establishing new customers. You will be the natural focus point for the customers. You will be involved in the full process, from identifying customer’s needs to the actual implementation. The job makes it necessary to get a thorough understanding of the products, as well as a basic understanding of your customer’s way of working. Qualifications: You have a solid educational background within chemistry; bioscience or engineering that will establish a solid understanding of how you work within the pharmaceutical industry. You have some knowledge/understanding from sales or sales related tasks within the industry. With the thorough education that PMS will provide, you will be able to be a professional partner and work closely with the customers. It’s important that you are able to sell solutions, and secure the customers a long-term strategy with PMS products. You are persistent, patient and you are able to both be of service as well as being able to close a sale within the same process. You are able to handle complex projects without losing focus.
