You will be joining our ongoing Solvency II programme, and will be a key player in planning and executing the transformation of Codan/Trygg-Hansa into a Solvency II compliant environment.<br /><br />As Data Analyst in Codan/Trygg-Hansa you will have the opportunity to join a global company with all that it entails of complex professional challenges, capable international colleagues and excellent opportunities to develop and grow. The Data Analyst is a pivotal role that will require strong technical knowledge as well as good communication skills internally as well as externally.<br /><br /><strong>Your responsibilities: </strong><br />As Data Analyst you will work on subjects like Data Policy, Data Governance and a Framework for assessing Data Quality. You will work in SAS with ETL-programming, and have responsibility for delivering high-quality data in accordance to requirements set by actuaries, financial reporting or other internal customers in the organisation. You will be working cross functionally across the organisation to analyse processes and data flows and to recommend improvements. You will oversee the implementation of these recommended improvements into the appropriate processes and systems. Specific tasks include:<br /><ul> <li>ETL-programming and building data flows from data warehouse to output for customers </li> <li>Support and participate in continuously improvement of Data Directory and documentation of data processes </li> <li>Ensure an appropriate view of system/data architecture and processes </li> <li>Act as coach for the business areas in Data quality related issues </li> <li>Propose and secure execution of improvements </li> <li>Assist in implementation and configuration of data- and process solutions </li> <li>Control that agreed systems and process solutions meet expectations </li> <li>Monitor transformation of changes and set up business-as-usual support </li></ul><strong>Your profile: </strong><br />As ideal candidate for this position you most likely have an academic background within mathematics, engineering, IT or another relevant area. Working experience within the financial services industry – for example from an accounting/auditing role, an analyst role or a consulting role – would be an advantage. In addition to this, you should: <br /><ul> <li>Have solid experience with data structuring, ETL-programming and data governance, including meta data </li> <li>Have SAS programming experience, preferably in SAS DI Studio </li> <li>A good understanding of financial data flows and processes in practice and theory and the ability to couple this with technical data concepts </li> <li>Ideally have an understanding of Solvency II – or at least have a strong desire to learn more </li></ul><strong>As a person you are: <br /></strong><ul> <li>A self managing individual who is capable of leading areas of technical work with limited supervision </li> <li>Above-average analytical skills and a generally analytical mindset </li> <li>A high degree of responsibility and engagement that leads you to focus on closing and completing tasks </li> <li>A strong team player who also has a sense of humour </li></ul><strong>Application:</strong><br />Trygg-Hansa cooperates with Hays Specialist Recruitment A/S in this recruitment.
