Nordic Sales Manager – Neuroscience – Field based
Our Client is currently looking for a field based Nordic Sales Manager covering all four Nordic Countries. You will be responsible for Product Specialists in all four countries each responsible for growing national sales and developing relationship with various customer groups and Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) within Neurology, Urology, Rehabilitation. As Nordic Sales Manager you will report to the Neuroscience Business Unit Director and work closely with both Product Specialists and the BUD to ensure growth of the Neuroscience business within the Nordic.

Primary Role:
To lead, motivate and inspire the team of Product Specialist to maximise contribution, performance and individual development. o deliver, communicate and support marketing strategies that ensure the short, medium and long-term success of the Business Unit, and in so doing create learning opportunities and support activities in line with the business focus.
Key Responsibility
Sales Force Leadership and Development:
- Effectively recruit, train, motivate and inspire Product Specialists to deliver and exceed set targets follow agreed individual development plans.
- Spend at least 60% of working week (3 days) on Field Visits aimed at coaching and developing individual skills.
- Encourage the sharing of Best Practice and problem solving business issues in order to foster an environment of enthusiasm and positive team spirit.
Financial Objectives and Drive for Results:
- Take responsibility for the delivery of team and individual results.
- Set challenging goals and objectives designed to achieve and exceed agreed Nordic countries sales targets and assist individual Product Specialists in the development of territory sales and Business Plans.
Contribution to Nordic Neuroscience Leading team:
- Provide regular feedback to BUD on business, team, key activities trough weekly & monthly report and dedicated meetings.
- Be an active member of Nordic Leading Team and as such proactively collaborate with Market Access & Reimbursement, Medical Affairs and Marketing to identify business potentials and find collaborative solutions to address issues.
Development and maintenance of KOLs
Be a part of the global KOL management program:
- Identify and develop relationships with KOLs to ensure product advocacy and that these customers undertaker coaching and presentation roles positively promoting either the product or the company.
- Ensure KOL speakers are clear on message and goals before presenting
- Communicate accurately and clearly in both written and verbal format
Experience and personal competences:
- A committed, credible, enthusiastic professional with an action-orientated approach and sound current knowledge of the Healthcare environment and pharmaceutical marketplace in all Nordic countries
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Demonstrate successful previous management experience. Proven ability to coach and develop individuals and team.
- Relevant experience of selling within the pharmaceutical industry, ideally in hospital environment
- Able to adapt to a changing environment and optimize on business opportunities. To do this you have excellent time management and the ability to prioritise
- Ability to manage positively upwards and downwards. Proven ability to perform under pressure and remain positive and motivated.
- Master in English and at least 1 Nordic language (Swedish, Finnish, Danish, Norwegian)
