<p><strong>PROJECT PLANNER - Gothenburg</strong><br /><strong>SCHEDULER / CALCULATOR</strong><br /><br />Our client is an independent global consultancy offering a range of services to the construction and property industry. They provide project, cost and construction management for clients throughout the whole world, finding solutions that exceed expectations and add value to projects<i>.</i> They have been in Sweden since 2005, operating across the whole country, and also in other parts of Scandinavia, including Copenhagen in Denmark and Helsinki in Finland.<br />This global consultancy is looking for a talented Project Planner for their office in Gothenburg to manage the development and maintenance of its project schedules, ensuring that they are appropriately resourced, monitored and reported against, preferably trough the use of S-Curves. You will also ensure all work is planned and tracked, enabling changes in work priorities to be done quickly and simply. <br />You will chair the weekly “Plan, Do, Review” (PDR) meetings, and support the Project Team/Project Manager by identifying any concerns found on progress with plans and make recommendations for actions to be put in place. It is essential that you have an in-depth knowledge of the concepts and principles of project management and planning. Awareness of policies and procedures to ensure that resources are efficiently used is crucial. <br /><strong></strong><br /><strong>Skills and Abilities</strong><br /><ul> <li>Experience in planning major and complex projects</li> <li>Experience in the use of MS Project</li> <li>Experience in deploying project management tools and techniques</li> <li>Experience in the management of resources</li> <li>Ability to work with a wide range of engineers</li> <li>Follow up monitoring - checking progress against targets, reporting as necessary and taking action to resolve exceptions</li> <li>Fluent in Swedish and English</li></ul><strong></strong><br /><strong>Application</strong><br />In this recruitment, the client is working with Hays.
