Role Synopsis At Baker Hughes, the Quality Supervisor, is to develop, implement, maintain and continually improve a Quality Management System capable of producing objective evidence of conformity to the BH QMS. Responsibilities: · Assists in the formulation and recommendation of policies, objectives, plans, procedures and schedules for the District. · Supports tender activities for Quality Assurance · Supports contract review activities to ensure customer requirements are defined and implemented. · Conduct audits, evaluate work standards and performance levels to ensure uniformity and effectiveness. · Develop and implement processes and systems to improve products and services. · Ensures effective implementation of BHI Core procedures. · Works with appropriate groups to ensure quality specifications have been developed and monitor adherence to the specifications. · Works with Operations Management to ensure Quality System procedures are followed. · Perform audit to local suppliers and follows up corrective actions to findings. · Ensures that all monitoring and measurement equipment is on calibration according BH QMS procedures. · Participates in the resolution of incidents interacting with Reliability and R&M functions following the DMAIC process. · Collects data for trend analysis and KPI reporting. Skill Requirements: · Assertive and self-motivated to develop and implement Quality Management Systems · Excellent communication skills, tact and diplomacy to interface with various internal and external customers · Enthusiastic, positive attitude and team player · Excellent presentation skills · Excellent problem solving skills · Computer literate Education, Experience, and Training: · BS degree or equivalent · Previous working experience in Quality Management · Preferred experience in Quality Standards (i.e., ISO 9000, API, TQM) · Preferred minimum of 3 years relevant oil field experience (desirable) · ISO 9001:2008 Lead Auditor · ISO 9001:2008 Knowledge and application · 6 Sigma Process Training · Additional personal development training as required · FCPA · Know-It Modules · Q Manage / docQuest · FIRST Alert / FRACAS · SAP Company Overview Baker Hughes serves the worldwide oil and natural gas industry with reservoir consulting and products and services for drilling, formation evaluation, completion and production.
