TOP-TOY’s Language Team is looking for a Swedish Language Consultant from 1st April 2012. The position is temporary but if you are the right person for the job, you can expect to be employed on a permanent contract. Your workplace will be at our office in Tune near Roskilde or at our office in Malmö.<br />

TOP-TOY’s Language Team currently consists of 8 devoted Language Consultants translating from English to Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, and German. You will be working together with our other Swedish Language Consultant.<br />

<strong>Your Tasks</strong><br />
TOP-TOY is one of the largest toy businesses in Northern Europe. As such you will be translating and proofreading packaging texts and instructions for toys, printed catalogues for BR-Leksaker, TOYS”R”US, and Leksam, web material, texts for store material and cash receipts, commercials, adverts, manuals etc. into Swedish. The source language is primarily English. In addition to translating and proofreading you will also be copywriting texts in English and Swedish for a number of our products.

You handle Swedish perfectly in writing and speech and master English at a high level. You have a relevant higher linguistic education in Swedish and English to match the tasks described above. You are used to working with Microsoft Office and preferably you are familiar with SDL Trados Studio 2011. You are an expert in googling, and it is an advantage if you have knowledge of other Nordic languages and cultures.<br />

You strive to make the perfect translation, getting the message through in an efficient and down to earth tone of voice. As a colleague you are positive, cheerful and enjoy working in a team. You like being busy, and you can handle many tasks at the same time, and tasks that need to be done with sometimes very short deadlines.<BR> </font></TD>
